Growing a Healthier Community

What is a Community Garden?
Community gardens are a shared plot of land intended for communal cultivation. In urban areas, access to freshly grown produce is scarce and we want our neighbors to feel like they have farm fresh produce right outside their doors.
How does it work?
While the space is open to the public, we have volunteers who coordinate plots and maintain the property during the growing season (typically May through October). You may come at any time to enjoy the fruits of our labor and take as you need. Otherwise, harvests will be regularly given away on Saturdays at the Fresh Produce Market. If you want to volunteer, check out the Get Involved page.
