|
| | The SHARE Center officially opened its Free Dental Clinic on May 2, with a grand opening celebration held on June 1. The clinic is now providing free or low-cost dental services, including cleanings, extractions, partial dentures, and fillings to help expand access to oral health care for the community we serve. Local coverage from LEX 18 and Spectrum News 1 highlighted the clinic as a major step in addressing dental care needs in Lexington, Kentucky.
| Because of the strong response and high demand for appointments, the clinic will be operating with a waitlist and extended Saturday hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting in August to better serve patients. We are grateful for the support and attention from local news outlets as SHARE continues working to make care more accessible for our neighbors.

| IRUSA MEAL PACK EVENT

| | | | 01/17/2026 Volunteers attending the IRUSA Meal Pack Event.
| | |
|
| | Earlier this year, SHARE Center partnered with Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) to host a large-scale meal packing event in Lexington, bringing together volunteers from across the community to combat food insecurity.
| With incredible energy and collaboration, volunteers assembled thousands of meals for individuals and families facing hunger in our region. The event demonstrated the power of collective action and how people of all backgrounds coming together with a shared purpose to serve others can change lives.
| Coverage from WKYT, LEX 18, and FOX 56 highlighted both the scale and significance of the effort. Beyond the numbers, the event supported a sense of unity, compassion, and service that continues to define SHARE’s work in Lexington.
| We are deeply grateful to Islamic Relief USA and every volunteer who contributed their time and effort. Initiatives like this not only provide immediate relief but also strengthen the fabric of our community.
